About us
AJEMALEBU SELF HELP (AJESH) is a non-profit, apolitical, and non-religious organization founded on June 4, 2006 and legally recognized under Law No. 90/053 of 19 December 1990 relating to freedom of association in Cameroon. The organization was established to support communities in improving their livelihoods while promoting the sustainable management of natural resources.
The organization operates through two strategic pillars: Sustainable Management of Natural Resources and Community Wellbeing. Its programs focus on biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, community land rights, sustainable agriculture, public health, and humanitarian assistance, all aimed at strengthening resilience and promoting equitable development.
Through strong partnerships with government institutions, international organizations, and local communities, AJESH continues to deliver community-driven solutions that address environmental degradation, poverty, and social inequality while advancing sustainable development in Cameroon and beyond.
